The Power of GOOD News Received

As water baptism (Biblically, in the only-saving name of Jesus) is both an action of obedience to the Gospel and a sign of “burial with Christ”/being “Born-of-the-Water” (AKA ‘our part’, along with first, faith and repentance toward God), so is Christ’s Holy Spirit baptism, signaled by someone speaking in an un-acquired language “as the Spirit gives utterance”, at least initially, both an action (trusting surrender and release to Him, plus praying and praising out loud to God in one’s native tongue until Jesus takes over with His glossolalia)…and a Gift-sign of Empowering Love to follow and live for Christ wholeheartedly and consistently until He returns.

Hope Opp

“Setting goals offers the promise of hope (especially in an uncertain economy).” Barbara Ballinger, Your 2024 Checklist article, Magazine.Realtor, Winter 2024.

My Testimony (my 1 min. 44 sec. LifeStory Opener)

As a boy, I had an eye accident…but, thankfully, I didn’t lose my eye…and got to grow up and still play ball, drive a car and have peripheral vision.

I went to Baptist church and had religion as a youth but was still empty and searching inside. Then, I was divinely introduced to Book of Acts Christianity when I was 15, and got Biblically Born-Again at age 16, establishing a relationship with Christ…and my life has never been the same!

I was also blessed when I was 22 with my wonderful wife and bountiful business and, later, entrusted with my awesome kids and amazing grandkids, all sustained miracles.

Then, unexpectedly, I experienced great loss in the passing of my dad, later my only sister and, most recently, my loving mother, all to cancer. In the same year Mom died, I got my own prognosis but God in His mercy and goodness has spared my life, making me not only a cancer survivor but also His prevailer.

AND through it all, always having Jesus’ supernatural love and hand in my life, filling me, freeing me, guiding and comforting me, like no other…He’s my Ultimate Provisionary, my Counselor and my Best Friend…not just now, but Forever, I’m certain.
